Technical expert Bill Shaw has been involved in a large number of diverse renewable energy projects, large and small, for clients such as BNFL, British Alcan, Scottish Hydro and Scottish Water. Bills early experience as a construction project manager for major contractors on major Water, Wind, Nuclear and Hydro projects included design development, plant procurement, construction, commissioning and training. Since 2002 he has managed the due diligence process for Biomass and Wind schemes projects with responsibility for successfully taking projects through the feasibility, financing and planning stages before project managing their detailed design and delivery. Bill has also fulfilled the role of CDM Advisor.
DCT has been providing civil engineering services to the water industry since 1980, specialising in tunnelling, shafts, and other trenchless technologies. Through acquisition and steady organic growth DCT has diversified into Utilities, Power and Transportation Infrastructure rapidly growing its expertise. Recent major projects for Scottish Water, United Utilities and Severn Trent Water have involved the delivery of Civils and MEICA packages valued at up to £13m.
